Today we're going to be talking about identity shifts.

So how I've gone and quantum shifted time and time and time again over the last two years to evolve to where I'm currently at.

Okay, so here's some secrets.

Firstly,

I really had to get clear on who I wanted to become.

Speaker: 00:00:34

This new identity that I wanted to step into over the past two years has continuously evolved.

Who I was two years ago, I would never have known.

Speaker: 00:00:46

I could have gotten to where I am today, right?

Speaker: 00:00:49

And I'm so grateful for the person that I have evolved into.

Speaker: 00:00:52

And so today in this episode, I really want to share some wisdom,

some transitions that I've been through and I hope that I give you some beautiful golden nuggets.

So a year and nine months ago when I decided to start my business, I started as a healer, a psychic and I was really wanting to help heal other people from anxiety and depression.

Now the person I was then

Speaker: 00:01:16

was very rigid in the spiritual space.

Speaker: 00:01:19

You know, I didn't want to speak about money.

Speaker: 00:01:21

I was quite egotistic in the sense that I thought I knew a lot about spirituality, and yet I was putting myself in a box.

Speaker: 00:01:30

I was putting myself in a box of having to protect myself every single day, of having to make sure I, you know, saged my crystals every single full moon.

Speaker: 00:01:39

And I was almost like rigid into this reality that wasn't necessarily true.

Speaker: 00:01:44

And so if you're someone who's still living and playing in the box of spirituality, this is your fucking permission piece to totally remove the boxes, okay?

This is for you to truly be able to allow yourself to shift, allow yourself to evolve, and allow yourself to know that you are able to create a new identity because

In the ease and the flow and the surrendering of choosing a new identity, you get to become who you truly are.

And at 29, the older I get, the more I come into who I'm truly meant to be and the authenticity of owning who I'm meant to be and relaxing into who I am.

And for me, I've always had this push-pull energy, right?

Back when I was the healer and the facilitator and the psychic, I was always people-pleasing.

Speaker: 00:02:43

So I don't know who here can resonate with being a people pleaser, but fucking hell, I rode that journey.

Speaker: 00:02:49

I had that identity of being a people pleaser and it was truly such a deep wound that I had to really shift.

Speaker: 00:03:00

And so I didn't want to make more money than my peers because I wanted to ensure that I was staying the same as them.

And the identity that I had to grow through was the person that actually wanted to stand out of the crowd.

Speaker: 00:03:17

When I first had my big spiritual opening and wanted to channel light language and wanted to share it with people, that was also an identity that I kind of attached.

And I remember

Speaker: 00:03:29

thinking, oh, I want to tell everyone that I channel aliens because I wanted to see their reaction.

Speaker: 00:03:34

And it was kind of as if I was doing it for a reaction because my ego wanted it.

Speaker: 00:03:39

And then I realized that that was a whole identity in itself.

Speaker: 00:03:43

And when I created Starseed Society, I really had attached my identity to that brand, to that business.

Speaker: 00:03:51

And then again, I suppose I have to now Natalie Patterson coaching.

Speaker: 00:03:55

And it's funny.

Speaker: 00:03:58

If I was to look back, you know, a year ago and say, hey, Natalie, you can achieve all of this, I would have had no idea that I could have had all, literally had all of this.

So I'm so proud of myself and I'm so excited to teach you some, a few little bits and pieces that has really helped me on my journey.

So about six months ago, I started getting these messages from Spirit that I needed to change Starseed Society to Natalie Patterson Coaching.

And I remember hearing the whispers of it and being like, fuck, I don't want to do that.

Speaker: 00:04:31

That's not who I am.

Speaker: 00:04:32

I'm Starseed Society.

Speaker: 00:04:34

And then I realized that actually, maybe I could come into being who I am.

Speaker: 00:04:40

Maybe I could own Natalie Patterson.

Speaker: 00:04:41

Maybe that could actually be the brand.

Speaker: 00:04:44

And so

Speaker: 00:04:45

when I really realized like who are my avatar clients, who are my soulmate clients, who are the people that I truly deeply desire to work with, that are the leaders that are making massive impact on this world.

It is the starseeds and it was also the entrepreneurs that don't necessarily identify with the starseed, right?

Speaker: 00:05:05

And yet because I was so involved with the word starseed, I was like this is my whole life.

Speaker: 00:05:12

So letting go of Starseeds society felt like I was almost like going against what I truly believed in.

Speaker: 00:05:19

So I was almost like shaming myself and not allowing myself to step into this new version of me.

Speaker: 00:05:27

Actually what happened was I was fucking myself over.

Speaker: 00:05:31

And I'm unsure if you've been here, but you know you need to move forward, and you know your soul needs to evolve, yet you keep doing old habits and old patterns that you know are fucking you over.

Speaker: 00:05:44

And so I want to call you forward in saying that when you know you're about to have an identity shift, and you know what is required for you to do something different than you've always done, and you feel the fear, I want you to go through it anyway.

For about a month and a half, my spirit guides kept saying to me, you need to change, you need to change, you need to change, you need to change Natalie Patterson.

Speaker: 00:06:09

And every time they would say this to me, I just felt this deep sadness in my heart.

Speaker: 00:06:14

And yet I had the call one day, I sat down with a mentor and she was like, we were mapping out the next couple of months of my life.

And she's like, the new person that you're evolving into now is Natalie Patterson.

Speaker: 00:06:25

And it was then and there that I was like, right, if I'm going to evolve into this new person, I want,

Speaker: 00:06:32

A new photo shoot.

Speaker: 00:06:33

I want new branding colors.

Speaker: 00:06:35

I want everything brand new.

Speaker: 00:06:36

I want to create a new identity.

Speaker: 00:06:39

And I went down to Byron Bay one day and I was shopping.

Speaker: 00:06:43

And I walked into the shop, and I was actually shopping specifically for a dress to go to a retreat, and we had to embody the million dollar version of ourselves.

Speaker: 00:06:52

And everyone knows that I really deeply desire to be a millennium, and I'm very close to this year.

Speaker: 00:06:57

And I'm in Barron Bay, and I'm looking, I'm checking out all these dresses, and this lady said to me, you should try on this dress, it's orange.

Speaker: 00:07:04

And I was like, fuck that, I hate the color orange, there is no way I'm wearing orange.

Speaker: 00:07:10

And she was like, babe, it's going to look so good on your skin color, with your blue eyes.

Speaker: 00:07:15

And I was totally rejecting it.

Speaker: 00:07:17

Anyway, spirit had actually led me to that shop.

Speaker: 00:07:21

I was in Byron Bay.

Speaker: 00:07:22

I was looking at all these other shops.

Speaker: 00:07:23

And then my intuition was like, you need to go left.

Speaker: 00:07:25

And then I was looking at the shop.

Speaker: 00:07:26

And I was like, OK, I've got to go into the shop.

Speaker: 00:07:29

So I go in.

Speaker: 00:07:29

And then I end up trying on this orange dress.

Speaker: 00:07:32

And I remember looking at myself being like, oh my god, orange.

Speaker: 00:07:39

Orange is beautiful.

Speaker: 00:07:40

My color, what the fuck, what the fuck?

Speaker: 00:07:43

My whole life, every time I see the color orange, I'm like, oh, why are you wearing that?

Speaker: 00:07:46

Oh, God.

Speaker: 00:07:47

Almost like judging that color and rejecting that color.

Speaker: 00:07:52

And then once I tried on this dress and I embodied this version of me, I was like, wow, this is so wild.

Speaker: 00:07:59

This is who I'm gonna be.

Speaker: 00:08:01

And so, of course, that retreat, I wore this incredible orange dress.

Speaker: 00:08:05

I totally embodied this million dollar version of me.

Speaker: 00:08:07

And then, of course, a couple weeks later when I actually made the transition of going into Natalie Patterson, I knew in my soul of souls, I knew that I actually had to rebrand myself with the color orange.

And I went and did this photo shoot with this amazing crew.

Speaker: 00:08:26

And the day before my photo shoot,

Speaker: 00:08:30

I was so nervous.

Speaker: 00:08:31

I bought a brand new wardrobe.

Speaker: 00:08:32

I had a hairdresser, makeup artist.

Speaker: 00:08:35

I even had a model come and help me pose, right?

Speaker: 00:08:39

So I'd done things that I wouldn't normally do.

Speaker: 00:08:42

The past version of me, I would have just done my own makeup.

Speaker: 00:08:44

The past version of me would have just got a cheap photographer.

Speaker: 00:08:49

But this new version of me was like, no, I want it done this way.

Speaker: 00:08:51

I want it done differently than how I've ever done it before.

Speaker: 00:08:54

I needed to create a new identity.

Speaker: 00:08:57

So this one morning, I woke up.

Speaker: 00:08:59

And I had had this dream that my new branding was going to go to shit and that no one was going to like it.

Speaker: 00:09:06

And so I even messaged my friend.

Speaker: 00:09:07

I was like, I was like, hey, bro, I was like, I've had this dream that I shouldn't I shouldn't actually change to this new branding.

Speaker: 00:09:14

I shouldn't I shouldn't come out of Natalie Patterson.

Speaker: 00:09:16

And he said to me, Natalie, your ego is trying to keep you small.

Speaker: 00:09:23

And I was like, oh, my God.

Speaker: 00:09:26

I will not let my ego take the better of me and not let me evolve to this new person.

Speaker: 00:09:33

So I knew in that moment, I had to go full throttle, trust myself, go fucking all in and back myself that this was going to work.

Speaker: 00:09:42

That all in energy was propelling me forward into this new version of myself.

Speaker: 00:09:48

And so there it was.

Speaker: 00:09:49

I was able to close the loop on Starseed Society.

Speaker: 00:09:52

Now, it was a choice that I had to use.

Speaker: 00:09:56

It was a choice that I had to go all in on myself and back myself to know that this was the new identity that I was calling in.

And it was sad!

Speaker: 00:10:05

Guys, I have to tell you the truth.

Speaker: 00:10:07

Letting go of Starseed Society was like a three-week emotional loss.

Speaker: 00:10:12

I had to mourn that version of me.

Speaker: 00:10:16

And it's so true.

Speaker: 00:10:18

Even, you know, almost a year ago now, when I broke up with my ex-boyfriend, that was again an identity shift, right?

Speaker: 00:10:25

I had to mourn that version of me.

Speaker: 00:10:27

Every single time we break up with someone, every single time we shift into a new version of ourselves, it requires a completely new set of

Speaker: 00:10:36

habits.

Speaker: 00:10:37

It requires a completely new set of potentially outfits of emotions of capacity of what you can hold.

Speaker: 00:10:47

And it requires you to level up and it requires you to call yourself forward and call yourself out on your shit.

Speaker: 00:10:55

And so it was a wild transition of letting go of starseed society.

Speaker: 00:11:01

I was able to fully quantum shift and one of the big pieces was

Speaker: 00:11:05

Every single time I got a new download, I was able to match it with action.

Speaker: 00:11:11

And every single time I had a new download, a new action, I was able to quantum shift and quantum shift and quantum shift.

Speaker: 00:11:18

And that is what was able to call me into a new reality.

Speaker: 00:11:23

This is the piece of the puzzle that I want to teach you guys.

Speaker: 00:11:26

It is so important.

Speaker: 00:11:26

So I'm going to say this again.

Speaker: 00:11:28

When you get a download and you

Speaker: 00:11:31

push that with action, what happens is it creates a reaction in your life for you to actually create a quantum shift.

Speaker: 00:11:40

So the new identity that you're calling in, when you have a download to do so, when you have a download to change your action, please create the action from that.

Speaker: 00:11:51

When you get the download to go out and buy a new dress that you need for that next part, that next version of you, go and do it.

Speaker: 00:11:59

I remember

Speaker: 00:12:01

before i went traveling i knew i was going on stages a lot so i was like i want to wear something that i wouldn't normally wear i want to buy a piece of designer clothing i've never ever ever bought that before because the past version of me was so against designer stuff however i loved camilla so i walked into camilla and i remember buying my first dress it was $800 and i felt so

guilty for spending $800 on a dress and I was so nervous.

Speaker: 00:12:27

I was literally shaking.

Speaker: 00:12:29

I had a friend come with me because I was actually so nervous to go onto Camilla on my own.

Speaker: 00:12:33

Yet I know that when I wore Camilla, when I felt Camilla on me, it's a new identity.

Speaker: 00:12:38

So it's kind of like, there was like a three-week period where it was kind of like a bit weird when I was like moving and transitioning into this new version of myself.

Speaker: 00:12:46

So if you can feel the rockiness, if you can feel the weirdness of you in kind of like

Speaker: 00:12:52

in this limbo stage of like is it new identity or old identity what i want to call you forward to do is like do the steps that you wouldn't normally do okay so for me it was like oh i could go and buy camilla i don't know if i should buy camilla and then by me going to camilla

Speaker: 00:13:12

gave me the courage to step into this new identity.

Speaker: 00:13:15

So the other big piece of the puzzle was me recoding my internal dialogue of me knowing that I had to evolve by me being able to look in front of the mirror

and call myself forward into this new version of me.

Speaker: 00:13:33

And what I did was I used to stand in front of the mirror and I used to say, I'm calling in the new version of myself.

Speaker: 00:13:39

I'm calling in the new version of myself.

Speaker: 00:13:41

I'm calling in the new version of myself that is on my highest timeline.

Speaker: 00:13:45

I call in the version of myself that is on my highest timeline.

Speaker: 00:13:50

And by doing this, what happened was I created an external shift.

Speaker: 00:13:55

Okay.

Speaker: 00:13:55

I was recoding my internal dialogue.

Speaker: 00:13:58

So what happened was

Speaker: 00:13:59

then externally this was able to come around me and then be created.

Speaker: 00:14:04

So I want to inspire you guys to start doing this.

I do a lot of mirror work and I always teach this.

Speaker: 00:14:09

I talk about it at all the retreats and all the events that I do.

Speaker: 00:14:11

I have big mirrors that I bring everywhere and I really highly encourage all of my clients to go into the mirror and start self-loving on themselves.

Start creating the new identity.

Speaker: 00:14:20

Start talking, you know, I spoke in one of my other podcasts about if you want to be a millionaire, start recoding and rewiring your internal dialogue.

This is so important guys.

when creating any sort of shift, whether it's in your business, your relationship, your personal life, it's so important to firstly recode yourself with your internal dialogue and then externally it will then project out, okay?

And this is also where we get to create new timelines and get to shift into new timelines, which is really, really, really exciting.

So lastly, what I really want to inspire you all to do, if you're feeling like you're going through a huge identity shift, I want you to surrender in.

Your soul is calling you forward into you evolving into who you're truly meant to be on this earth.

You are here for a big mission.

Speaker: 00:15:10

You are here for your soul's purpose and you fucking know that deep in your core.

So surrender to the process.

Allow yourself to mourn the old version of you.

Last week, I had this really wild dream.

It was very graphic and very horrific, actually, where I was stabbing this fucking man.

Speaker: 00:15:32

And then I wrapped him as a mummy and I put him underneath my house.

Speaker: 00:15:37

In this dream, I realized what was happening was I wasn't necessarily killing someone.

Speaker: 00:15:41

What was actually happening was

Speaker: 00:15:44

I was letting go of another version of me.

Speaker: 00:15:46

I'm stepping into another new identity, the new identity that is more feminine than that masculine drive that I've been for the past year and nine months in my business.

And I'm going into this more like flowy state of wanting to receive and wanting to be held and wanted to be loved.

Speaker: 00:16:04

And I'm feeling all of my emotions.

Speaker: 00:16:07

And it has been a really beautiful shift.

And what I've been doing is I've been totally letting myself go.

Speaker: 00:16:15

And so I've been surrendering to this identity shift.

And that's what really made me want to talk about this today.
